The celebrity doc’s penthouse is located in the Princeton House at 215 West 95th St.
Television pop psychologist and “Celebrity Rehab” star Dr. Drew is bringing his act to New York. The upper West Side to be exact.
According to the New York real estate weekly “The Real Deal,” Dr. Drew, whose real name is David Drew Pinsky, purchased a two-bedroom, two-bath, 1,032-square-foot penthouse at the Princeton House at 215 West 95th St. for $1.45 million.
Dr. Drew’s new penthouse has sweeping views of Manhattan.
The seller was a New Jersey-based dentist.
Dr. Drew Pinksy has treated many well-known stars including Dennis Rodman, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and actress Sean Young.
Pinsky will use the home as pied–à–terre. Pinsky spends most of his time at his permanent residence in Pasadena, Calif.
The building has a garden, fitness center, rooftop deck and lounge.
Halstead Property’s Barak Dunayer, who lives in the building, represented both the buyer and seller.
Located between Riverside Park and Central Park just off Broadway — and steps from the 1, 2, and 3 trains — the building has a garden, fitness center, rooftop deck and lounge. The home has Hudson River views.
Dr. Drew, who treated stars such as basketball player Dennis Rodman, Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and actress Sean Young, will feel right at home in his new neighborhood. Back in the 1970s and 80s, the upper West Side housed some of the top drug rehabilitation centers in the country. The Phoenix House, on W. 74th St., is still a leading facility.
Dunayer was unavailable for comment.
